This factsheet aims at summarising the data available for three landfill gas to electricity projects in Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg and eThekwini; drawing some generic lessons learnt that could be valuable for other municipalities willing to explore similar opportunities (GIZ, SALGA & SEA, 2016).
