This is the final report of the World Business Council on Sustainable Development’s Sustainable Mobility Project (SMP). The SMP was launched in 2000 to understand better how the needs of society to move freely, gain access, communicate, trade and establish relationships might be improved without sacrificing other essential human or ecological requirements now or in the future.
